THREE people caused “significant” damage to a social club after fleeing from a botched burglary.
A group of people broke into the Oakdale Conservative Club in Darbys Lane, Poole, during the early hours.
When they entered a room, an alarm sounded before the group, wearing balaclavas, left the building without taking anything.
Police say there was significant damage caused to the property during the incident, which happened at around 3.25am on Wednesday, November 15.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident to come forward while also hoping CCTV images they have released may identify somebody.
Police community support investigator Adam Cleaver, of Poole police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries to try and identify those responsible for this incident.
“As part of my enquiries, I have obtained CCTV images of the suspects. You are not able to see any facial features in the images, but I am hoping they may jog someone’s memory of a group seen wearing similar clothing.
“Finally, I am keen to hear from anyone who recalls seeing suspicious activity in the area or has information to help me identify the offenders.”
