A WOMAN was found dead at a flat in Bournemouth.
Emergency services were called to Wellington Court in Poole Road, Westbourne on Saturday afternoon, December 30.
A woman in her 70s was found unresponsive. She was later pronounced dead by paramedics.
Police were called to investigate the circumstances, but it is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 1.38pm on Saturday 30 December 2023 from the ambulance service in relation to a woman who had been found unresponsive at an address in Poole Road, Bournemouth.
"It was reported that the woman, aged in her 70s, had been pronounced dead at the scene.
"Officers attended. The death is not being treated as suspicious and the woman’s family has been informed.
"Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time."
