A CAR flipped on its side leaving the driver injured.
Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash on Wimborne Road East, close to Tricketts Cross Roundabout, on New Year's Day.
The driver, a man in his 70s, was t to hospital after the crash for treatment after the car was on its side.
Road closures were put in place and the driver, a man in his 70s, was taken to hospital.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 5.05pm on Monday 1 January 2024 of a single-vehicle collision on Wimborne Road East in Bournemouth.
"Officers attended, along with the fire service.
"There were no reports of any serious injuries, the road was cleared and officers left the scene at around 6.30pm."
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service added: "We were called to Wimborne Road East, Ferndown for a single-vehicle road traffic collision.
"Two crews attended, from Ferndown and Redhill Park, and firefighters stabilised the car so that the driver could self-extricate safely.
"He was then taken into the care of the ambulance service. Our stop was at 5.32pm."
