Another year brings another great set of musicians and festivals to Bournemouth, with some big names set to perform in 2024.
The likes of Rick Astley and The Human League will be performing in the town, with a couple of regular festivals plus a new one emerging later in the year.
Here are some of the big gigs and festivals that are set to take place in Bournemouth in 2024.

Rick Astley
Rick Astley is set to bring his tour to the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) on Thursday, February 29.
Belinda Carlisle will support him and he will be performing some songs from his ninth studio album 'Are We There Yet?'.
Simple Minds
Simple Minds have proved to be an enduringly popular band with hits such as 'Don't You Forgot About Me', 'See The Lights' and 'Alive and Kicking’ propelling them to success.
They will be performing at the BIC on Tuesday, March 26 supported by the band Del Amitri.
Jason Derulo
Jason Derulo will be another big artist taking to the stage at the BIC in 2024, with his show scheduled for Monday, March 4.
The 34-year-old is known for many big hits such as 'Whatcha Say', 'Talk Dirty', 'Wiggle' and 'Trumpets'.
James Arthur
James Arthur will be visiting Bournemouth at the BIC as part of his UK and European tour on Tuesday, March 5.
He rose to fame after winning the ninth series of The X Factor in 2012 and has performed several hits, including 'Say You Won't Let Go' and 'You're Nobody 'til Somebody Loves You'.
Paloma Faith
Paloma Faith will be performing at the BIC on Friday, May 17 which will be after the release of her sixth studio album 'The Glorification of Sadness'.
The 42-year-old singer is known for several hits including 'Upside Down', 'Stone Cold Sober' and 'New York'.
Texas
The Scottish band Texas will be coming down to the BIC on Tuesday, September 10.
They are known for songs such as 'I Don't Want a Lover', 'Summer Son' and 'Inner Smile'.
The Human League
The Human League will be taking to the stage at the BIC on Tuesday, December 10 to perform some of their big hits.
Popular songs from the group include 'Tell Me When', 'Human' and 'Mirror Man'.
Bournemouth 7s
Tens of thousands of people are expected to attend Bournemouth 7s over the May bank holiday weekend (May 24-26).
Dubbed the sporting Glastonbury, touring teams compete in an array of competitions, including rugby, netball, hockey, cheerleading and a national fitness game.
Alongside that, there will be 12 different music stages and more than 100 live acts and DJs to take in.
King's Park Festival
A new two-day music festival is currently planned to take place over the weekend of May 4-5 at King's Park next to AFC Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium.
Festival founder and organiser Ty Temel said: “The plans for this event have been in the pipeline for a few years now. In total, it has been three years in the making and has finally got the green light.
“I’m thrilled that we can now share our vision, to create and cultivate a special event in Bournemouth with a real festival community feel.
“Our experienced core event team have already been working hard behind the scenes to curate some fantastic arenas and incredible line-ups."
