A CRASH between a lorry, van and car caused a road to be closed by police after reports of black ice.
Officers were called to a three vehicle collision on the B3351 between Corfe Castle and Studland at 5.39pm on January 9.
Dorset Police have confirmed that the crash involved a black Vauxhall Vivaro, a green Volvo dropside lorry and a silver Volkswagen Polo.
No injuries were reported but road closures were put in place and the local authority was made aware of reports of ice on the road.
Recovery was arranged and officers left the scene at around 9pm.
Dorset Police are unable to confirm the cause of the crash at this time.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 5.39pm on Tuesday 9 January 2023 of a three-vehicle collision on the B3351 between Corfe Castle and Studland.
“Officers attended, there were no reports of any injuries. Road closures were put in place and the local authority was notified due to reports of ice on the road.
“Recovery was arranged and officers left the scene at around 9pm.”
