A New Forest man has been hit with points on his licence after he was caught speeding in a Mercedes on the M6.
David Charles Geddes was clocked exceeding a 50mph limit on the M6 by an automatic speed camera.
The 47-year-old of Southampton Road, Lymington was driving northbound between junctions 10a and 13 near Cannock, in Staffordshire, at the time.
He was caught in a silver Mercedes.
Geddes was found guilty in December at Cannock Magistrates' Court.
He was fined £440 and received four points on his licence.
He must also pay a £176 victim surcharge and £200 towards prosecution court costs.
The money must be paid in full by January 22.
Geddes was caught speeding on May 19, 2022, and pleaded not guilty on January 26, 2023.
He was found guilty on December 19, 2023.
