ONCE again the council is closing off road access to cars i.e. into and through Poole Park, when are the council going to realise that we require more access for cars, lorries and vans etc and not less.
Cycle lanes which are not used, taking up space which is needed for the ever increasing number of vehicles, they are not going to reduce in number, but only increase with every new family with children.
Stop kidding yourselves at the public's expense, you waste money on stupid stainless steel structures like the ‘the knot' , 'the reef' ,and you cannot even keep a small three acre area like Parkstone Park clean and tidy for people to use, how often do you empty the bins and clear the fountain of branches etc?
I have lived in the Poole area all my life 79 years and was disappointed at the state of this park. I agree with everything that Alan Burden said, and hope it’s not too late to save our town.
