A TABLETOP gaming show is set to return for its ‘biggest event yet’.
Beachhead Tabletop Gaming Show will be coming to the Bournemouth International Centre for a celebration of all things tabletop gaming and pop culture.
Aimed at casual gamers and seasoned players alike, the event sees thousands of fans and gamers head to the BIC.
Now in its eighth year, Beachhead has ‘plenty to offer’ over the two-day show.
This includes top tier wargames, card games, board games, roleplay sessions, miniature games, free participation games, demonstration games, tournaments, traders, cosplay, seminars, and more.
The 2024 event is set to be ‘bigger than ever’, with organisers saying there will be more vendors, tournaments, and a brand-new dedicated card game zone.
This new zone will allow attendees to learn and play some of the world's biggest games, including Disney’s Lorcana, Pokémon, and Magic: the Gathering.
For Star Wars fans, there will be a chance to meet their on-screen heroes.
Elsewhere, attendees to the event will be able to try brand new games from top indie talent and globally recognised publishers and enjoy military history seminars.
Tabletop wargaming tournaments at Beachhead see hundreds of players and top teams travelling overseas to attend.
Many of this year’s tournaments are already sold out, so competitors are being urged to get their tickets as soon as possible by the organisers.
Entoyment and Beachhead owner and organiser, Pete Valinski, said: “We’re excited to return to the BIC and offer more than we ever have before.
“I love being able to bring something like this to the tabletop gaming community and offer a chance to new gamers to see how amazing this hobby is.”
Tickets are on sale for the event on February 10 and 11 from the BIC box office online, with day tickets costing £10 for adults and £5 for under 16s, and weekend tickets costing £15 for adults and £7.50 for under 16s.
Tournament entry tickets are available from Entoyment Wargaming and Hobby Centre, online and in store. Tournament entry includes a Beachhead day ticket.
