HUNDREDS of households have been left without power in an area of Bournemouth.
An estimated 440 customers are affected by an outage in the Throop, Holdenhurst Village and Townsend area.
Power company SSEN said the fault was reported at 4.06am on Saturday, February 3.
It says it aims to restore power by 6pm today.
Posting on its website, SSEN said: “We’re very sorry for the power cut and are aware of a fault on our main network affecting 440 homes.
“This is affecting a large area and it’s likely several streets in your area are affected by the same outage.”
According to the SSEN website, engineers are currently on site attempting to resolve the issue.
The Daily Echo has contacted SSEN for further details about the fault.
