A HUGE power cut hit 1,300 homes and led to a football match being postponed.
Christchurch Football Club’s match against Lymington Town Football Club has been postponed as a result of the outage.
Posting on social media, Christchurch Football Club said: “Todays match against @lymingtontownfc has been postponed due to a power cut in the Hurn area.
“We apologise for any dis conveniences caused and will inform you of the rescheduled fixture in the near future.”

According to the SSEN website, a total of 1,338 properties were affected by the unplanned power outage.
Areas affected included Hurn and the Fairmile areas of Christchurch.
SSEN said power was expected to be restored by 4pm today, Saturday, February 3.
The outage was initially reported at 8.25am this morning.
The power company said the outage was caused by a fault on its underground network.
It said its engineers were working to restore power as soon as possible.
Elsewhere, a separate outage is affected around 440 homes in the Throop, Townsend, and Holdenhurst Village area.
