THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

GRAEME SMITH, 33 and of Etches Close in Bournemouth, admitting harassing a woman in Bournemouth between June 23 and June 30, 2023. He repeatedly called her and sent her messages. The defendant was handed a community order running until January 31, 2026, and a restraining order banning him from contacting the woman until January 31, 2025. He was also fined £80, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

CRAIG STEVENS, 40 and of Southbrook Close in Poole, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on October 6, 2023. The community order was varied to contain new rehabilitation activity requirements.

THOMAS FREDERICK HARRISON, 44 and of Osborne Road in Poole, admitted failing to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order made by Poole Magistrates Court on September 1, 2023. The suspended sentence order was varied to become a prison term of six months suspended for 12 months, and to contain new rehabilitation activity requirements. He was also ordered to pay costs of £60.

ROSS DONALDSON, 52 and of Drummond Road, Bournemouth, admitted beating a woman in Bournemouth on January 25, 2023. He was handed a community order running until February 4, 2026, and a restraining order was made for the defendant not to contact the woman until August 4, 2025. He was also fined £120, ordered to pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £250 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

DALE SHARP, 42 and of Glider Close in Christchurch, admitted harassing a woman between February 2, 2023, and April 10, 2023, in Christchurch. He attended her workplace and sent communications to cause distress. The defendant was handed a community order running until February 4, 2026, and a restraining order was made not to contact the woman until February 4, 2026. He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £250 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

CALLUM MCGILVRAY, 33 and of Beaumont Avenue in Weymouth, admitted beating a woman in Dorchester on August 6, 2023. He also admitted causing criminal damage to a property in Dorchester on the same date. The defendant was handed a community order running until February 4, 2025, and a restraining order to not contact the woman until February 4, 2026. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £114 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

MICHAEL LONG, 53 and of Forty Foot Way in West Bay, admitted breaching a non-molestation order by contacted someone he was prohibited from contacting on December 10, 2023. He was handed a community order running until February 4, 2026, and a restraining order was made to not contact that person until August 4, 2025. He was also fined £50, ordered to pay costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service and a victim surcharge of £114.

ALFIE CHAMBERS, 20 and of Blandford Road in Shillingstone, admitted using or threatening unlawful violence towards another person(s) in Weymouth on April 18, 2022. He was jailed for 105 days.

GARETH GLENDOR PICTON, 42 and of no fixed address, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Poole Magistrates Court on July 7, 2023. The community order was revoked and he was sent to prison for 28 days.
