A MAN was stabbed at a house in Bournemouth.
He was found injured by paramedics at an address in Frances Road, Bournemouth, shortly after 8pm last night, February 12.
Police say the victim, in his 50s, was assaulted and was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries that are described as "not life-threatening".
Dorset Police refuse to say where he was stabbed.
During the incident, a phone and bank card were also stolen.
Around five police cars were seen outside the house yesterday evening, as well as ambulances and doctor's cars.
A spokeswoman for the force said: "Dorset Police received a report at 8.22pm on Monday 12 February 2024 from the ambulance service that a man had been assaulted and sustained stab wounds at an address in Frances Road in Bournemouth.
"A mobile phone and bank card were stolen during the incident.
"The victim – a man aged in his 50s – was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not life-threatening.
"Officers attended and enquiries are ongoing to locate the offenders, who are believed to be known to the victim.
"An investigation is ongoing by detectives and a cordon is in place at the scene."
A spokeswoman for South Western Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.17pm on Monday 12 February to an incident in Bournemouth.
"We sent a double-crewed land ambulance and an operations officer and we conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Poole Hospital.”
