A FORD Transit van was stolen from a car park in Poole.

The white van was taken while it was parked near to the Newtown Conservative Club in Ringwood Road and was believed to have been towed away by a dark-coloured SUV.

It was later found in the West Howe area of Bournemouth, however a number of tools that were inside are now gone, according to police.

The van was initially stolen at around 1.40am on Monday, January 22.

A spokesman for Poole police said:  "We are appealing for anyone with information regarding this incident to please come forward."
