Dorset Police have begun to search for a missing woman last seen in Bournemouth believed to be travelling in a blue Peugeot. 

Dorset Police Officers are searching for a 56-year-old woman, Claire Philips who was reported missing at around 11.30am on March 1. 

Claire was last seen around 11.30am on February 29 in Columbia Road, Bournemouth, and is believed to be travelling in a blue Peugeot 107 with a registration number PN62 NBE. 

Inspector Tracy Santoni of Dorset Police said: "We are carrying out urgent enquiries to find Claire as we are concerned for her welfare and understand she may have been upset recently.

“I would ask anyone who has information regarding Claire’s whereabouts, or who comes across the vehicle detailed above, to please contact police immediately."

Claire has been described as five foot two inches tall and of slim build with short grey hair in a bob-style. 

Insp Santoni said: "If you see this appeal Claire, please get in touch with us or your family as we all want to ensure you are safe and well.”
