NEARLY 30 years of service at a Poole auto centre came to an end last week.
MOT tester Ken Sheppard, who has worked at U-Drive Auto Centre in Poole for 28 years, is described as one of the most dedicated and experienced team members.
As the stalwart tester, Ken has played a pivotal role in the growth and success of the auto centre, which boasts one of the largest MOT test centres in Dorset.
His expertise and dedication have been described as “instrumental in establishing U-Drive as a trusted destination for the testing of all classes of vehicles”.
As a token of appreciation for his contribution to the company, U-Drive’s owners Dave and Gill Hamblin presented Ken with a distinguished watch, a bottle of champagne and a celebratory cake.
Dave said: “Ken Sheppard has been the cornerstone of U-Drive’s MOT centre for nearly three decades.
“His expertise and dedication have been instrumental in shaping our reputation as a leading provider of MOT and automotive services in Dorset.
“We are immensely grateful for his contributions and wish him a happy and fulfilling retirement.”
Gill added: "Ken’s professionalism, expertise and genuine passion for his work have left a lasting impression on our business.
“We extend out warmest wished to Ken and his family as he embarks on this new chapter of his life.”
