A MAN who has been missing for 24 days has finally been found.
Neil Allen, 41, was last seen in Leigh Road, Wimborne, on Tuesday, February 13.
A major search operation across east Dorset was carried out, with searches being done on land, air and water.
Extensive enquiries have been carried out by officers, including house-to-house and CCTV visits in the area.
Detailed searches were conducted, utilising specialist police search assets and supported by trained volunteers from Dorset Search and Rescue (DorSAR) and Wessex Flood and Water Rescue.
Dorset Police confirmed today, March 7, he was found via a drone and police officers.
Chief inspector David Parr, of Dorset Police, said: “On Thursday 7 March 2024, Neil was located by officers from the drone and neighbourhood policing teams, who were carrying out searches to help find him.
“I want to take this opportunity to thank all those members of the public, as well as trained volunteers, who assisted in our search efforts and provided valuable information. We are immensely grateful for your support.”
