ABOUT £1,600 worth of equipment for a pony was stolen from its tack room.
New Forest pony Charlie had its room broken into in Pussex Lane, near Bournemouth Airport, Hurn.
Items stolen from the tack include saddles, bridles and other sentimental items belonging to two different owners.
Officers are now appealing for information on the incident that happened between 5.30pm on Sunday, February 25 and the next morning.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police’s rural crime team said: “If only Charlie the lovely New Forest pony in the picture could speak.”
