TWO PEOPLE have been taken to hospital after a serious crash on a busy countryside road.
The crash involved a silver Land Rover Discovery and a White Hyundai Ioniq.
The road was temporarily closed whilst emergency services dealt with the incident which happened this morning around 12am.
A spokesman for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said: “We were called at 11.50am to a collision on Arnewood Bridge Road.
“Serious injuries have been reported but these are not believed to be life-threatening.”
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight fire said: “On-call firefighters from New Milton were alerted to a two-vehicle RTC on Arnewood Bridge Road in Sway at midday.
“Two casualties were treated by South Central Ambulance Service paramedics before being taken to hospital.
“The HIWFRS crew made the scene safe before returning to station at 12:37.”
