A WOMAN remains on police bail after an alleged stabbing outside a Poole pub.
The 37-year-old from Poole was arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent late on Friday, March 1 following an "assault” outside The Churchill pub in Ashley Road, Parkstone.
According to police, she was stabbed in the neck at around 11.30pm and was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Witnesses reported seeing around eight police cars and ambulances attending the incident.
Greene King, the operators of the pub on the corner of Churchill Road, closed the pub for the rest of the weekend due to “unforeseen circumstances” but reopened on the Monday.
A Dorset Police spokesman said enquiries by officers into the incident remain ongoing.
