PARTY-GOERS were left frightened after rumours of a knife in a nightclub and police called.
At around 11pm on Saturday, March 16, two police cars were witnessed arriving at Cameo nightclub in Bournemouth.
One club-goer said she was queuing outside the venue on Fir Vale Road with friends when a fight reportedly broke out between a man and a bodyguard at the front entrance.
“Next thing we knew someone shouted that he had a knife and police rushed into intervene,” she said.
“Everyone was just standing around confused at what was going on.
“It looked like a simple drunk fight and that the man has been kicked out.”
She added: “Once someone shouted about the knife we were all a bit worried and went inside the club.”
Dorset Police have been contacted for more information.
