PEOPLE have been banned from entering a property in Bournemouth after multiple reports of anti-social behaviour.
Bournemouth Police have secured a closure order for a property on Frances Road.
Officers secured a closure order for a property in Bournemouth following numerous reports from members of the public regarding anti-social behaviour (ASB), crime and disorder in the area.
A partial closure order was granted at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 20 March 2024 for a period of three months for a property in Frances Road in accordance with Section 80 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.
Boscombe Neighbourhood Policing Team and BCP Council’s anti-social behaviour team collaborated together to collect and present evidence before the court.
Police Sergeant Ashley White, of Bournemouth Police, said: “We fully recognise the impact behaviour of this nature has on those living in the area and officers from the local neighbourhood team have been working with our local authority partners to assist in securing this order.
“Officers have compiled evidence to put before the court in direct response to the concerns raised by residents and we hope that this order will now limit any impact on the local community in the future.
“Dorset Police remains committed to taking positive action in response to concerns of this nature that are raised by residents."
