A CHARITY screening of a classic film will take place today in Christchurch.
Organised by Dirt In The Gate, the 1953 classic The War of the Worlds will be shown at The Regent in the town on Thursday, March 21.
The group is made up of film enthusiasts who show movies on their original 35mm film at the cinema.
This special screening of the film, based on H. G. Wells 1898 novel of the same name, is a part of the group’s Sci-Fi season and it will be raising money for Help and Care.
The charity supports housebound people to improve their quality of life.
Member of the Dirt In The Gate team Ruby Payne will be running the London Marathon for the charity, too.
To donate to Ruby’s fundraiser, search for her name on JustGiving.
To buy tickets for the screening, visit The Regent’s website.
