EMERGENCY services were called to the seafront to help four people in the water over the Easter weekend.
Dorset Police received a report at 1.52pm on Sunday raising concern for the welfare of four people in the water at Swanage Beach.
Officers attended, alongside the ambulance service and Swanage Coastguard Rescue.
Members of the public assisted the emergency services in getting all four people to safety.
They were checked over by the ambulance service as a precaution.
Police officers left the scene at around 2.55pm.
