A GAS leak from the One Stop convenience store on Verwood's Ringwood Road brought traffic to a standstill after a section of the road was closed at about 10.30am on Monday.
Police diverted cars around the evacuated store as gas workers moved in to seal the leak. Officers reopened the road at 11.19am.
