I WAS pleased to see the letter from Nigel Hedges in favour of the Monorail proposal that Tobias Ellwood MP suggested in his Conurbation 2050 plan.
Other advantages included giving direct access from the mainline railway station to the airport, linking AFC Bournemouth Football stadium, JP Morgan, Littledown Centre and Bournemouth Hospital allowing better use of the parking available at the various locations and an efficient way of moving people.
With the traffic congestion and the need to improve air quality surely this idea is worth a real investigation.
