Exactly 20 years ago today, 240 women ran around Poole Park to raise money for charity.
Fundraising for Ovacome, the runners braved April showers to take on the 5km course.
Staged by Poole Runners, there was an added incentive of prizes for all age category winners.
It was local teenager Amanda Bailey who came out top after a tussle all the way with runner-up Eloise Pittwood from North Devon.
Amanda’s finishing time of 18 minutes, 29 seconds was impressive in the cool and showery conditions.
Third place went to Christina Squire, while local age category winners included Janice Palmer, Kelly Edwards, Sarah Barratt and Joan Royal.
Donations of £485 were made to Ovacome, and one of the winners even gave her prize cheque back to the charity.
Every runner who took part in the race, twice around the lake, received a memento from sponsor Lush.
