TRAVELLERS moved into a car park at Hengistbury Head on Friday evening, taking up valuable parking spaces at the popular family visitor spot.
More than 20 caravans and cars are parked around the outside of the car park at the end of the Broadway at Hengistbury Head with mattresses and bedding strewn outside their vehicles.
Chris Heath manager of the Hungry Hiker Cafe at Hengistbury Head said: "Members of the public who have been coming in, aren't very happy with the situation. The caravans are parked across several spaces all around the edge of the car park.
"Some of their stuff is all outside. It just looks really untidy. The sooner they move on the better."
