THESE pictures show a police car parked in a disabled bay while the officers stop off for sandwiches, say a Bournemouth couple.
They were snapped in Southbourne at 11.15am on Friday, August 15.
Dorset Police has now launched a full investigation.
Linda Warne, who took the pictures, said: "It's one rule for them and one for us."
Linda and husband Kevin said they saw the police pull up outside The Hungry Husky sandwich bar.
She said the picture shows one officer flicking through a newspaper while the other waits in the queue.
Kevin said: "They definitely walked out with sandwiches."
Linda, 50, who works in caring, said: "I once got a £30 ticket for parking for two or three minutes in a disabled bay while getting a chemist's prescription for an elderly lady.
"Why didn't the same happen to them? They should be setting the standards. I think they should be reprimanded."
Kevin, 42, a landscaper, said: "It's not setting the right standard. I think the chief constable should apologise to the public.
"I have got metal plates in my foot. I can't walk more than about 50 metres, and I'm struggling like mad to get a blue badge."
A Dorset Police spokesman said: "Dorset Police takes a very serious view of this incident, which has been referred to our Professional Standards Department for a full investigation.
"I can assure the public that this matter will be dealt with appropriately and robustly."
