THE Lulworth Estate was transformed into a celebration of rural life at the weekend.

The Spirit of the Countryside festival boasted plenty to do, with activities, demonstrations and arena events.

The Spectacular Knights of Lulworth jousting show wowed the crowds and expert Falconer Terry Large swooped in with his birds of prey.

New this year was the Rockwood Dog Display team, with some breathtaking stunts on show.

Rural craftsmen demonstrated pottery and glass blowing.

Appetites were satisfied with bread making classes, while the equine arena saw the return of the spirited Lulworth Scurry and fun pony club games.

Other attractions included a rock climbing wall, clay pigeon shooting and a lawn mower grand prix.
