A NURSE has ‘had his dreams come true’ after he won his dream car and a cash prize.
Sergiu Trifescu, from Bournemouth, won an electric BYD Seal Design worth £45,695 and £2,000 of cash from BOTB.
He said winning the Daily Draws Competition couldn’t have come at a better time and will provide him with some financial stability after a difficult few months.
“I’ve been playing for a while and everyday I’ve been checking my phone,” the 34-year-old said. “BOTB has made my dreams come true and I’m so happy.
“This prize means a lot. We’ve recently spent a lot on moving house, so the last few months have been tough. We will hopefully be able to use some of the cash to pay off some debt.”
The dad was about to start a training course when he received a video call from BOTB presenter Christian Williams, who broke the news to him.
“It was my day off, so I had booked to do a training course, and I couldn’t believe it when I heard from Christian,” he said.
“Hopefully, he will be calling me again in the future with another prize.”
The car features an 83kWh battery, 308bhp and range of 354 miles, which Sergiu said attracted him to it.
“I’ve wanted to own an electric car for a while and what I love about this car is the look and the range,” Sergiu said. “It will be really handy for me travelling to and from work. My little girl is also going to love it.”
Christian said: “A huge congratulations to Sergiu and his family for winning this amazing prize.
“With a new house and electric car, it’s a very exciting time for the family and I bet he can’t wait to treat his two-year-old daughter to some fun days out in his stunning new vehicle.”
BOTB was founded in 1999 by William Hindmarch and gives one winner their dream car every week.
It has given away £64million worth of cars to date.
