TWO people have been released on bail as officers continue to investigate a stabbing in West Howe.
A woman was reportedly stabbed at a home in Rochester Road during the early hours of Monday morning, April 29.
Police officers and paramedics rushed to the residential road at around 12.30am following reports of an assault.
The victim was taken to Poole Hospital for treatment to injuries police are describing as “serious” but not believed to be life-threatening.
A woman, 37, and a man, 21 – both from Bournemouth – were arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.
Residents told the Echo they heard screaming coming from a home that night and the woman being taken out to an ambulance shouting “How have I been stabbed?”
Another neighbour added: “The woman who lives there is always arguing with her boyfriend, there are smashed windows.”
