THE following cases were heard at Poole Magistrates' Court:

NEIL WYATT, 19 and of Arne Avenue in Poole, admitted three counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker, namely police officers, in Bournemouth Square on February 2. He admitted criminal damage to property after damaging a Ford KA car in Lymington Road in Highcliffe on December 6, 2023. He admitted assault by beating in Lymington Road in Highcliffe on December 6, 2023. He admitted failing to surrender to police / court bail at the appointed time on January 3 at Poole Magistrates’ Court, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings on December 6, 2023. He was handed a four week jail sentence suspended for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £500 and costs of £200 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

JOSHUA WINTER, 22 and of Knowlton Road in Poole, admitted five counts of theft from a shop. He stole goods to the value of £33.10 from the Co-op in Charminster Road, Bournemouth, on December 20, 2023. He stole laundry pods valued at £29.50 from Waitrose in Ashley Road, Poole, on January 31. He stole groceries to the value of £12.20 from the Co-op in Charminster Road, Bournemouth, on January 11. He stole goods to the value of £50.98 from Tk Maxx at Castlepoint in Bournemouth on February 12. He stole confectionary to the value of £48 from the Co-op in North Street, Wareham, on February 22. He also admitted using threatening / abusive words / behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Ashley Road in Poole on February 26, and possession of heroin in Bournemouth on March 15.He was handed a community order lasting until November 14, 2025. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £122.80.

SABRINA JEWELL, 36 and Mellstock Crescent in Wareham, admitted two counts of possessing a controlled drug of Class A after being in possession of heroin and crack cocaine in Avenue Road, Bournemouth, on February 29. She was fined £120.

MORGAN DAVIES, 21 and of Tedder Road in Bournemouth, admitted possession of a controlled drug of Class A and possession of a controlled drug of Class B after being found with cocaine and cannabis in Lansdown Road in Bournemouth on October 2, 2022. She was conditionally discharged for a period of 18 months, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £26 and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

AARON MICHAEL FRIGOT, 26 and of Lagland Street in Poole, admitted that in Dorchester on December 1, 2022, he acquired, used or had possession of criminal property, namely a Lloyds bank cheque number in the name of another man made payable to himself for £25,000. He admitted that between December 1 and 2, 2022, in Dorchester, he concealed, disguised, converted, transferred or removed criminal property, namely funds that were part of the proceeds of tree felling work carried out in Dorset. He was handed a 12 week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay compensation of £1500.
