Between 3pm and 4pm on Friday, May 10, the victim, a teenage boy, was chased by the trio in the Dolphin Shopping Centre, Falkland Square and the Townsgate Bridge in Poole.

It is believed that one of the three teenage boys was in possession of a weapon.

The second was wearing a blue t-shirt and black shorts while the third teen was wearing a royal blue hooded top and matching jogging bottoms.

No injuries were reported.

Police constable Sim Churchill, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are investigating this incident and looking to establish the full circumstances of how it occurred.

“We know that there were a number of people around Poole town centre at the time who may have witnessed the incident and we are keen to hear from anyone with relevant information who has not spoken to us.

“Furthermore, we are keen to speak to one witness – a woman who was wearing a green scarf and a light-blue backpack and riding a dark-blue mountain bike – who may be able to provide vital information about the incident.
