AN AIR ambulance was called to a moped crashed into a tree in Verwood.
The ambulance landed at The Fuzzy Bit in Verwood on Saturday morning around 1am in response to an incident on Manor Road.
Multiple police cars and ambulances attended the scene. Road closures were put in place while emergency services attended the scene.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 12.32am on Saturday, May 18, 2024, of a single vehicle collision in Manor Gardens in Verwood involving a moped that had collided with a tree.”
The rider and pillion passenger were both taken to hospital for injuries that were not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
Officers left the scene at around 2.25am.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
