BIC staff noted that the queue was one of the longest they had ever seen, with each fan desperate to pick up one of the 3,500 tickets selling at £8.50 each.

The stage was set for a night of unparalleled excitement as anticipation filled the air leading up to the December 1988 concert.

As the warm-up DJ whipped the crowd into a frenzy, expectations for the Goss brothers’ arrival on stage reached its peak. The audience was beyond excited when the brothers finally stepped into the spotlight.

In attendance were security personnel and dedicated volunteers from the St John Ambulance, providing assistance to the numerous Brosettes experiencing fainting spells.

Bros returned for a second performance the following January.
