A DORSET care business has acquired a new care home with help from a seven-figure funding package from HSBC.

Family-run Dorset care business, Serenata Care has announced it has acquired a new care home thanks to a seven-figure funding package from HSBC UK.

Two Cedars Residential Care Home in Broadstone, Dorset, is next door it another one of the firm's care homes, Park Lodge, and will become the business' third home.

Vimla Heeroo, director at Serenata Care, said: “My passion for care started 25 years ago when I first became a nurse. Thanks to HSBC UK’s support, I’ve been able to fulfil our family’s dream of expanding our presence in Dorset and offering care to more local residents.

"It has been over 15 years since I bought our first home and, with the support of HSBC UK, I have been able to continue my love for what I do.”

The home will be able to hold 17 residents and has provided care for over 65 years with an in-house hairdresser, chiropractic services and individually focused meals.

The acquisition of the 7,114 sq. ft. Two Cedars Residential Care Home ensures the continuity of its services to its residents, overseen by its team of 25 carers.
