A PUBLIC appeal has been launched to help find a ‘vulnerable’ 77-year-old from Wimborne.

Brian Cross was reported missing having last been seen in the area of Cuthbury Gardens at around 2am on Wednesday, May 29.

UPDATE: Brian has now been found. 

He is described as five feet six inches all and of slim build and has scraggly brown hair that is balding on the top.

It is believed he may have been wearing a light green t-shirt and carrying two Waitrose carrier bags.

Officers searching for Brian are appealing for information from the public to help find him.

Inspector Steve Hughes, of Dorset Police, said: “Brian is a vulnerable individual who is confused easily and we are extremely keen to locate him and make sure he is all right.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding Brian’s whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given in the Wimborne area, to please contact us immediately.”
