A MAN was arrested after a woman was assaulted at an address in Bournemouth.
Dorset Police were called to a report that a woman was assaulted by a man who is known to her at an address in Stanley Road on Monday, May 27.
The victim sustained bruising to her arm.
A man aged in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of assault after officers attended the scene.
He has been released on police bail.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Dorset Police was called at around 4.10pm on Monday 27 May 2024 to a report that a woman was assaulted by a man who is known to her at an address in Stanley Road in Bournemouth. The victim sustained bruising to her arm.
“Officers attended and a man aged in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of assault. He has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.”
