AN off-road motorbike was taken without permission and then ridden dangerously.

Shortly before 1pm on Saturday, May 11, Dorset Police received a report that the bike was being ridden in a dangerous manner in Nelson Road, Poole.

After searching the area, the bike, which cannot be ridden legally on roads, was found at an address in the same road.

The bike had been taken from a different address in the road without the owner's consent.

Now, officers are appealing for information and have released an image of someone officers would like to speak to.

Police constable James Allcroft-Reid, of BCP police, said: “This off-road motorcycle cannot be ridden legally on the road, which can be very dangerous. Even though we were able to recover it, I need to find out who took and used it on that day.

“I am now in a position to release an image of the suspect and hope somebody is able to identify the man pictured.”
