A BUSINESS is set to celebrate its third anniversary with a ‘bike party’.
Guardhouse Sports, on the corner of Barrack Road and Dragoon Way, Christchurch, will mark its anniversary on June 20, with a party featuring some of the world’s biggest bike brands.
Beginning at midday, the event will allow visitors to take part in ride outs with brands including Argon 18, Yeti, Mondraker, Marin and GT Bicycles.
This covers the wide range of disciplines that the shop caters for, with e-bike, gravel, road and mountain bike rides taking place throughout the day.
Nationally renowned Dirt Factory will be bringing a pump and skills track for attendees to hone their skills.
From 4pm until late, visitors can enjoy pizza from The Dough Box and music from Mr Wozza and friends.
Global brand Muc-Off will be teaching new bike cleaning skills, sharing tips and offering bike cleans by its team.
“We’ve held and attended a number of events at our own store, nationally and supported other local businesses and initiatives since we opened in summer ‘21 and believe it's hugely important to take your business out to the people and give them something to enjoy and get involved in,” owner Ian Wagman said.
“We couldn’t be more excited to involve everyone in our celebration and promote the industries we enjoy.”
