TWO men have been arrested after a fight broke out at a pub in Bournemouth over the bank holiday weekend.
A man in his 50s was in The Westbourne pub when he got into an altercation with two men.
The pub in Westbourne was temporarily cordoned off while police and emergency services dealt with the incident.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “ We received a report of an altercation at the Westbourne Pub in Poole Road that occurred at around 6.15pm on Saturday 25 May 2024.
“It was reported that a man aged in his 50s sustained facial injuries during the incident.
“Following enquiries two men - aged 29 and 66 and both from Poole - were arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and inflicting grievous bodily harm.”
Both men have been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
