THE countdown is on to a popular beach festival taking place this summer.
Sandfest returns to Sandbanks on Sunday, July 14.
MC and rapper Dizzee Rascal, who is known for hits Bonkers, Dance Wiv Me and Holiday, will headline the event.
He will be joined by drum and bass duo Sigma, British DJ and record producer D.O.D, singer and rappe Kojo Funds and rising star Charlotte Plank.
Luck & Neat also feature on the bill along with local resident DJs TJ Byham and Jay Welch.
Speaking previously, Sandfest festival founder and organiser Ty Temel said the line-up had “something for everyone” in the line-up this year.
He said the acts lined-up would create an “awesome, high-energy, summer party”.
Sandfest is now in its seventh year and takes place on Sandbanks beach.
Around 5,000 people flock to the festival each summer.
It has seen a host of global acts perform since its launch in 2017, with the event attracting 70 per cent of repeat visitors year on year.
Previous headliners have included Craig David, Clean Bandit, Rudimental and Chase Status.
