TWO MEN were taken into custody following a ‘disturbance’ in Charminster.
Armed police swarmed a Charminster property yesterday after reports of a disturbance in the area.
Buses and motorists were diverted as police dealt with the incident on Charminster Road.
Crowds of people watched as two men were put in the back of a police car.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 3.48pm on Thursday, May 30, of a disturbance at an address in Charminster Road in Bournemouth.
“Officers responded to the incident and two men have been detained.”
Following enquiries, two men aged in their 40s were arrested on suspicion of affray, however further information proved that no offences were identified and both men were released without charge.
