THE co-founders of a popular Dorset festival have brought out a new book.

Camp Bestival co-founders Rosie and Rob da Bank share their ideas for bringing the festival lifestyle home in book Camp Bestival at Home.

The pair have poured all their inspiration into Camp Bestival at Home, so that families who love the festival, which is held annually at Lulworth Castle every summer, can live the lifestyle every day.

"We have pulled together all of the amazing things we love about Camp Bestival and hanging out with our family and popped it all into a book with ideas for making and creating the festival life at home all year round," say the pair. "We hope our Camp Bestival at Home book becomes the perfect handbook for parents who want to bring the Camp Bestival lifestyle to their very own home.

"If you've been to Camp Bestival and seen it for yourself, or not yet managed to get there, fear not - we have something for every family to enjoy. Arranged by season and packed with activities, recipes and ideas to keep the whole family inspired all year round, we take the reader back to nature, enjoying everything from campfire cooking, singalongs and star gazing.

"From kitchen discos with our good mate Sophie, foraging, circus skills as well as some meditation for the grown ups from Rob, plus more inspiring creativity from Josie than you can shake a paintbrush at."

The pair have even roped in some Camp Bestival family friends and regulars including Fat Boy Slim, Sara Cox, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Fearne Cotton and Jo Whiley.

The festival is now celebrating its 18th year in Dorset with the successful addition of a sister festival in Shropshire since 2022.

Camp Bestival takes over Lulworth Castle from July 25 to July 28 with an Aliens and Space theme. Headliners include Pete Tong Ibiza Classics, Jules Buckley & The Essential Orchestra, Paloma Faith and McFly.

New for 2024 will be a Space Camp, planetarium and wall climbing, as well as Rock School, Art Town and Figure Drawing and a wealth of workshops inside Fashion & Textile World.

Camp Bestival at Home, by Ebury Press, published by Penguin, is available now priced £15.
