A WOMAN was taken to hospital after a car overturned in Bournemouth.

Emergency services were called to Horsham Avenue shortly after 6.30pm on Monday, June 3.

Police attended along with the fire and ambulance services.

A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service said two fire appliances arrived at the scene at 6.36pm.

The crews from Poole and Springbourne found an overturned car on arrival with one person inside.

The driver was released from the vehicle and then seen by paramedics before being taken to hospital.

A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “We received a report at 6.32pm on Monday 3 June 2024 of a collision in Horsham Avenue in Bournemouth involving a car that had overturned.

The sole female occupant was removed from the vehicle and was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.”

Recovery was arranged and officers left the scene at around 10.15pm.
