OFFICERS have closed an investigation that was launched to find a flasher who exposed himself to another man.
The victim, in his 20s, reported to Dorset Police a flasher who made inappropriate comments before pulling down his trousers to expose himself last March.
He was sat on a bench near the clifftop at Branksome beach in Poole on the evening of March 10 when the incident happened.
After a witness appeal by the force and enquiries by officers, no arrests have been made and the case has been shelved.
A Dorset Police spokesman said: “Our enquiries have concluded but, as with any case, we will consider any new lines of enquiry should they emerge.”
The offender is described as white, five feet 10 inches tall, aged around 30 to 40 years old and of large build with short hair and a short beard. He was wearing a thick wax coat and jeans.
Police said at the time that the victim was able to walk away from the scene.
