A POPULAR chef has announced he will be hosting a classic and supercar show in Chewton Glen.

TV presenter James Martin has helped set the stage in partnership with Chewton Glen Hotel on June 30. 

Located on the edge of the New Forest, 40 classic supercars are expected to line-up on the hotel's croquet lawn before it departs to the hotel's sister property, The Lygon Arms, near Cheltenham. 

A spokesperson for the hotel said: "The hotel is, as always, open to the public and the day will offer the excellent opportunity for locals residents and car enthusiasts to explore the exquisite range of cars on display, as well as have the opportunity to meet celebrity chef James Martin who will be hosting the event. 

"Perched on the edge of the New Forest, there are a host of nature walks or cycle routes guests can explore, while Highcliffe Beach is just a 20-minute stroll away.

"And for those who might want to extend the stay for a weekend getaway, beautifully-appointed main house rooms and spectacular Treehouses await."

Both the Lygon Arms and Chewton Glen Hotel have menus made by James Martin and offer cookery classes.

A ticketed event, it has now sold out.
