IT IS all change at Castlepoint shopping centre – with one shop leaving, another one coming and third moving.
Clintons card shop will close down and leave the shopping centre in Bournemouth on August 11 – with a closing down sale now in effect.
But the unit won't be empty for long as book shop Waterstones will be moving its existing branch into the Clintons unit.
Meanwhile, that empty unit will soon become home to international fashion brand Mango for its first Dorset shop.
And a spokeswoman for Castlepoint also confirmed that TK Maxx has signed an agreement to extend its lease in the shopping centre into the future.
She added there is “a lot of appetite from the retail community” at coming into Castlepoint, but at this stage it is just discussions and nothing has been signed.
Last month, bosses submitted a planning application to BCP Council to divide unit three into two – although no new retailers have been confirmed.
Mango will join Castlepoint’s wealth of stores including Nike and Hotel Chocolat, which both opened in November 2023.
The retail park has more than 35 stores and 40 brands, from fashion and beauty to books and homeware.
