MORE than £13,000 was raised for a Bournemouth carers charity from businesses in Wimborne after a golfing event.

The Unique Group and MYTIME Young Carers held a charity golf day on June 4 at Remedy Golf Club in Wimborne.

MYTIME Young Carers is dedicated to supporting young carers by providing opportunities for rest, personal development and a support network.

The event saw 84 participants across 21 teams coming together as a community for a day of friendly competition.

Ex-premier league legend Kevin Davies also joined in the fun.

Josh Williams from Bizpedia achieved a hole-in-one, generously buying a drink for everyone playing.

The joint Unique and MYTIME teams secured a solid third place, but The Funky Peach took the top spot as champions.

Altogether, more than £13,000 was raised through the entertaining event.

Bradley Williams, managing director of the Unique Group, expressed his gratitude: "The atmosphere throughout the day was incredible.

"The support and generosity of everyone involved are truly heartwarming. We’re already looking forward to next year's event on June 17th, 2025, which we aim to make even better."

The next time MYTIME Young Carers Charity Golf Day will take place on June 17, 2025.
