AN Italian bar and restaurant in Bournemouth could be subject to a licence review following police intervention.
Dorset Police has applied for a review of the premises licence in place at Pirata in Charminster Road.
The county force said it did not consider the establishment to be promoting the licensing objectives.
These objectives were the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety and protection of children from harm.
BCP Council Licensing Authority are yet to determine the application and it will remain open for public consultation until June 12.
Representations must be made in writing on or before this date to The Licensing Team at BCP Council.
Pirata, located at 125 Charminster Road, is a pirate and maritime themed Italian bar and restaurant.
